Here’s how my One-Day Website process works:
Secure Your Build Day
It all starts with securing your Build Day. Once you complete your proposal, sign your contract, and pay the deposit, your spot is officially locked in and prep begins, all handled directly on the site with no back-and-forth.
Prep Work
Next, you’ll get a warm welcome and access to your project hub in Trello. You’ll complete your prep work, gather your website content, and schedule your Build Day and strategy call. This is where everything starts to take shape.
Build Day
You’ll wake up to an exciting morning surprise, then I’ll dive into building your new website from 8 AM to 3 PM EST. Revisions happen from 3 PM to 5 PM, and by the end of the day, your beautiful website is launched and ready to attract new customers.
Follow-Up Support
After your site goes live, I've got your back! I provide post-launch support. You’ll receive two weeks of email support, access to WordPress training videos, and peace of mind knowing help is available if anything comes up.

Writing the words for your website is hard. Knowing what to say and where it should go is even harder. This 20+ page Google Doc walks you through writing a clear, compelling (though non-salesy) message for every main page of your website, with simple outlines, section guidance, and strategy-backed placement so your message is easy to understand and act on. Will I need to be available on my Build Day?
Yes, you will need to be available, though not at your computer all day. Keep your phone nearby to respond to any questions or feedback. Plan to be free from around 3–5 PM EST for the website reveal and revisions.
What platform will my website be built on?
I design websites in self-hosted WordPress because it offers maximum creative freedom, functionality, and SEO performance for your business.
Are there any additional costs?
You’ll need a domain, which runs about $15 per year. You’ll also need website hosting. I recommend SiteGround. Their intro plan is about $3 per month when you pay for the first year up front. After that year, the hosting renews at their normal rate.
Do you offer payment plans?
We do! This is a big step for your business, and we want to make it easy for you to move forward. To help with that, we offer a 2-month payment plan.
What is a Trello Board?
Trello is the project management system we’ll use to stay organized. After confirming your One Day Website Experience, you’ll get access to your Trello board with project timelines, strategy questions, pre-work, and WordPress training videos.
Do you offer any other website packages?
Yes! Custom projects are available for businesses that need expansive, high-impact websites with advanced features. Share your vision, and I’ll craft a plan tailored to your needs.
How far in advance should I schedule my Build Day?
I recommend booking at least 2 weeks ahead to give you time to gather content. If you have a tight deadline, check with me. I’ll do my best to accommodate you.
What is “Voxer” Support?
Voxer is a walkie-talkie-style app we use for real-time communication on your Design Day, allowing for fast and seamless back-and-forth.
Do I need to have a brand design before I start?
Yes. The One Day Website is accelerated, so a firm foundation is necessary. You’ll need a logo, color palette, and font suite before booking.
Do you write the words for my website?
Yes, I offer high-impact copywriting assistance as an optional add-on. Alternatively, you can use my DIY Website Content Writing Guide to create your own content with structured guidance.
How do you improve my website’s SEO?
Through my optional SEO Essentials add-on package, I optimize page titles, meta descriptions, headings, images, and submit your site to Google Search Console, ensuring better visibility and search performance.
How do I track my website’s performance?
I’ll show you how to set up Google Analytics 4 for your site so you can monitor your website’s traffic and performance with confidence. Or I can do it for you as an optional add-on.
